MONDBERGE presents the species protection calendar 2027

By the editorial team·2 min read

Many wild animals are threatened by the effects of human activity such as deforestation, loss of natural habitats due to infrastructure projects, hunting, pollution, but also by the effects of climate change. The aim of the publishers is therefore to repeatedly make it clear how important and valuable the interdependence is – in accordance with the slogan of the magazine "DIE WELT UND WIR".

The actor and passionate nature and species protector Hannes Jaenicke has been supporting the work of the Mondberge magazine for many years. He took over the patronage of this unique, multi-award-winning calendar from the first edition.

"If we do nothing, we will ultimately destroy the lives of all living beings on Earth, including our own! By purchasing this calendar, you are already doing something: The proceeds from the sale will support various species protection projects in order to leave a rich diversity of species for future generations. We should finally realize that biodiversity also means quality of life – and this feeling will be conveyed to you by the new Mondberge calendar 2027 for one year." (Hannes Jaenicke)

The leaves, which are attached to an innovative and sustainable bamboo wood holder, can be easily removed using a perforation in order to, for example, frame and hang them individually. On the back of each month, information about the animal species, the photographer and a "making-of story" of the respective image is provided in German and English.

All sales proceeds are for species protection

Absolutely ALL revenues are donated to various nature and species protection organizations for specific support projects. The current, strictly limited edition 2027 is already the sixteenth, so a total of a six-figure amount has already been transferred. The 2027 calendar is available individually for 99.80 euros, subscribers and pre-orderers pay only 89.80 euros - each including shipping costs and packaging.
